Wang Kang was born in 1976. He received his BS degree in 1998 and MS

degree in 2002 from Shaanxi Normal University, and then obtained his PhD degree in 2005 from Nanjing University. From Oct. 2005 to Nov. 2006, he worked at Paris University 7 as a postdoctoral researcher supported by “The Grant for
Postdoctoral Research from the City of Paris”. Then, from 2007.01 to 2009.12,he conducted his second round postdoctoral research in Polytechnique Instituteof New York University. He is the principle investigator of three active grants from NSFC, NSF of Jangsu Province and Ministry of Education, respectively. He has been an associate professor in Nanjing University since Dec. 2009 and has published 27 SCI papers.
